Woodies in the Valley has always been a great venue for a woodie get together. This years event started out with the woodie “cruise-in” Friday night which was held at the local A&W drive-in. Just like in the good old days, woodie owners were getting together to see old friends, talk about the cars and get your favorite fast food.
Saturday the show began bright and early with a very warm day in the forecast. Cars were parked on the grounds of Redwood High School on Main St. Luckily there were plenty of large redwood trees for shade and a nice grassy lawn area. Also in the morning the city of Visalia was holding their St. Patrick’s Day parade which many of the woodie owners participated in. After the show the cruise through the country side took place. Lots of trees in blossom made for some great viewing. Saturday night the group got together for dinner a local Mexican restaurant.
Sunday morning was the “Goodbye Breakfast.” Hosted by Brian & Sandy Blain who have a outstanding car collection.
